need to replace o2 sensors.. where to go

where are u guys getting replacement o2 sensors? I have a cel and it came up as bad o2 sensors.... where are you guys getting replacements from Dealer? or just local parts store? are they easily accessible or should i pay to have them installed?

The fronts (AFR sensor) are prob. double that and then some. They're pretty easily accessible & I used a combination wrench vs a special socket. A pain to break them free (had to use a pipe for leverage) but then no prob.
 
I changed out a fault O2 on my 04. It was a b*tch! Definitely need a special tool (which I borrowed from the local O'Reilly Auto Parts for free) and something to make a long lever arm to get sufficient torque on it. Once you get it loosened, it's a lot better.
 
i'd buy all 4 and get it from rock auto and id get the densos like others have mentioned.

do them all at once they all tend to fail right after another. thats what happened to me 35,000 miles ago.
 
AF and 02 plus Cat

2007 Limited - No XREAS - Blisteins - 2 inch lift, all terrains, front end chrome wildlife bar..

I ran with a bad 02 sensor on Bank 2 for 6 months. Finally weather warmed and using a 7/8 inch wrench twisted it out. Reset DTC.

Two days later AF bank 1.

A week later 02 bank 1.

Purchased headers from Dyna Flow. Installed.

Intermittent P420 DTC indicating problem on Bank 1. Ironically usually after refueling and driving hard, so WTF??

Pulled the MAF, cleaned, new air filter and the response from the 200,000 Km engine was the best I have yet experienced and this is at -4C.

Will probably install the headers on the 06 limited as it has the setup for extreme mud. The shrockworks bumper/winch, MT tires, and No XREAS - Blisteins - 2 inch lift.
 
Rear 2 o2 sensors are cheaper but the front a/f sensors are more so be prepared & like everyone has said they're a B**** since you're going to replace soak the crap out of them with PB blaster ! Cut the crap out of my arms in there & is not much room . Mucho MFn will occur :confused: get the tool before or.......:brick:
