Radio questions from an idiot

I purchased a 2007 SR5 earlier this year and the previous owner had some audio upgrades done.

There's an old Alpine W205 receiver, an Alpine Amp, a Kicker Sub and Amp.

I removed the Sub because it was huge (took up a third of my cargo area) but the sub amp is still under my driver's seat. The Alpine speaker amp is under the passenger seat.

I want to replace the receiver with something newer (the bluetooth doesn't work great on the Alpine) and I think I've decided on the Sony-XAV-AX100.

I've done receiver installations before, but never with an existing third party amp. My basic question is, will I have any problems using the Sony receiver with the Alpine amp? Or will I simply be able to swap out the head unit and be good to go (with the proper wire harness)?

Thanks!

Just a simple swap is all required. At least if it was done properly in the first place

Makes no difference amp & head unit brand.

Of note though, the Alpine IVA-W205 Bluetooth doesn't work because it wasn't equipped with it. This model was before Bluetooth. So does did it have an external Bluetooth adapter installed?

An easier option though would be to get a current Alpine unit with built in Bluetooth and navigation and simply plug it in. No rewiring then at all other than to put the mic and navigation antenna in their respective locations.

It does have the BT module, it's just old and doesn't support many features. I really want a unit with CarPlay.
