im taking the runner out of the sunshine state ,to go to tennesee.What do i need to do if anythingother then its scheduled maintanace.It is a 06 sport 4 wd with 10000 miles?

I suggest checking your in-cabin air filter (if so equipped) , the engine air filter and all your lights. Go and do a once-over for all the truck's fluid levels before you depart. Be sure that your tires have the correct amount of air pressue and that your tread depth is okay (which should not be an issue with 10k on it).
If you have not lubed the chassis, that might not be a bad idea either. But then again, that should have been done at your previous oil change (around 9k????).

An air compressor, I drove from the Keys to W.V. last month to hunt and fish on the New river. The tire pressure sensor light came on the first morning with the cooler temps, all tires needed air.
I slept for an entire week in the back of the T4R. I'm 5'10" and fit pretty good corner to corner with the seats folded, though I wouldn't recommend it for anyone over 6'. Which reminds me of a major annoyance, if the keys are not in the ignition you can't use any of the interior lights after they have timed out.
Now where did I lay that flashlight :bash:
Also, since the door openings face down I was amazed at how much mud gets up in there.
Othewise the T4R did great pulling a loaded 17ft boat up and down some pretty nasty dirt roads.
