This is by far the longest trip in the new 4 Runner. After driving for about 4 hours, my lower back started to hurt. Then my legs started to hurt. I had to stop every couple of hours to stretch so my back and legs would not cramp up. I tried all of the various seat positions and nothing really seemed to help.
I have read various people trying to "lift" their seat up etc, but I doubt that is going to work. Has anyone had any success with aftermarket seats or swamping their 4 Runner seats out with a Land Cruiser or Lexus? Everything else about my 4 runner I love.
I'm sure other people experience the same thing as me. I did not have this problem in my 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited!!!
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks

No offense , but your a big dude for that truck. I have to get out and stretch in any vehicle I've owned after a couple hours and I'm 6'2" @ 180lbs
pretty little compared to you. My dad on the other hand 6'11" @ 320 , also feels cramped.... lol
Best of luck my friend , different seats would be the answer. Try a vehicle customizer in your area see if they have any aftermarket seats.
