V8 Brake Pad Replacement

Lots of posts of this, none that I can find that are current (and V8 applicable)

I've got lots of weight on my 4runner, need the best heavy duty brake pads all around.

OEM is best? any alternatives? Ideally i'd avoid having to do rotors as they only have 20k miles on them, so...send me your links!

These will probably be my next pads. never heard a bad thing about Akebono and many pro mechanics recommend them.

I have the Akebono ASP pads on front and rear and they're awesome. Very little brake dust, no noise, and the performance is great.

Just curious - any comments about your new Akebono Pads? Installation OK? I'm shopping now, 2003 V8, no towing, only highway. Now looking at Akebono (606) or Centric Posi-Quiet Ceramic (installed now, all good).
Thanks for any suggestions or preferences?

OEM Toyota pads are made by Akebono, just FYI if you get a good deal on them.
