At their site they have a notice that it's a registered trademark and no one can use it without their permission. But on Amazon there are all kinds of brands that use "speed bleeder", so either they are very generous in giving permission, have a lot of pending lawsuits for patent infringement or they aren't actively pursuing offenders; probably too expensive to do so.
On Amazon the picture for Russell Speed Bleeders is exactly the same as the one on the Speed Bleeder website. That's really odd, unless Russell is the original owner.
It's possible to order directly on the Speed Bleeder website. I'm done meddling with it for now; too cold. Maybe over the winter it will shake out that last bubble for a full pedal
