Another high idle on 22re question...
I have a fairly new issue ( past 6 months or so )...high idle.
Runs about 1300 rpm. At times will be around 1500, at other times it is around 1100 rpm.
It used to be I could tap the throttle and it would come down.
That does not work anymore.
I tried the cleaner at the IAC trick, no luck. Also ran Seafoam through the intake. No luck.
Vacuum hoses LOOK ok, but one can never tell...I'll try the carb cleaner trick this weekend to see if any leaks.
The throttle cable feels free. I even disconnected the cruise control cable to make sure it was not pulling un-intentionally.
New Denso plugs, wires ( last week ) Runs better, but still high idle.
Any other ideas ( yes, I read up on other posts )
