There are different editions of the printed manual for the different years. The 2003 and 2004 are very similar and most of the manual is likely the same. However, you should still get the same year as your truck.
All volumes cover both the V6 (1GR-FE) and V8 (2UZ-FE). The available manuals are:
Volume 1: Preparation, Specifications, Diagnostics
Volume 2: Diagnostics, Engine, Chasis, Body, Electrical, Maintenance
Volume ?: Automatic Transaxle Repair Manual
Volume ?: Automatic Transmission Repair Manual
Volume ?: Electrical Wiring Diagram
Volume ?: New Car Features
I've only seen the first two manuals available as hard-copy. You could just wait until you actually need them for something before purchase. At that point, maybe spend $10 on the Toyota site to see if that will get you by (and download as much as you can while you're there). If you still need the hard-copy, it will likely still be avaiable.
