The driver's door of your vehicle is based on P(essenger) tires. These are LT(Light Truck) tires. They go on completely different system. Do your research. If I am running Pxxxx tires, I will go with the door's listing. If I am running LTxxxx tires, I will go with what's the according/appropriate weight for LT tires to match with 32psi of P tires, which is 44psi. 44psi for LT tires is equivalent to 32psi of P tires.

I ended up with XenonDepot, Philips 4300K bulbs. They are the OEM bulb for other vehicles which come with OEM HID lamps. Philips 4300K IS the industry OEM HID. I like that color (with about 100hrs of usage, it will be shifted to around 4700K). Only XenonDepot has that option (premium option, +$50), no one else do, not TRS, not XS, not many others. Everything else I had seen, screams aftermarket, most of the time, too "blue", IMO.

HID bulb in OEM reflector works, IMO. It's not any brighter than any other OEM HID vehicles.

I tried to sit in my "low" carrera, with the 4Runner (with HID in OEM projector) and my X5 (with OEM HID) side-by-side, they look virtually the same..... when I am head on with them or when they are behind me.

Life has been busy (with all those group buys.....)

Finally got a chance to install this "Beyond Cargo Slide".

I was really looking for something to mount my ARB fridge, and as I have the 3rd row seats (2015 SR5P) that I really need to use it a couple times a year, it makes any permanently installed cargo boxes, fridge trays etc.. a non-starter. This seems to be the ONLY solution for me as it can be easily remove (probably like 5-10 minutes).

So, it arrived nicely packed, and the product is surprisingly, very heavy, ~80lb! Very solid, nicely built, definitely.


The first step is to take 4 of the 6 straps, thread them thru the original factory tie downs, there are different ways and directions and twists for those straps, just try it out and find the best way for each.

Here is the back corner, passenger side:


After securing the slide with only the 4 straps, there is still a little "play", probably due the fact that the 3rd row seats locking mechanism has a little play. It is probably fine, but it is not as "solid" as I'd like. And I do plan on putting some weight on this slide.

So, I use the 2 remaining straps, and fish them thru from behind to the 2nd row seats' child-seat LATCH anchors (middle 2), and hook them to the rear cross member of the lower frame of the slide. Wa-la, that makes a night and day different!

2nd row left most seat, right behind the driver. The right LATCH:


I slide the 2nd row seats forward to make that fishing exercise easier, and then slide and lock them rearward and hook the strap hook to the rear cross member.


Both the 5th and 6th straps are in place:


The 4 straps at the back holds the slide in place solidly.


I can totally sit on it and it is not going anywhere! (Ok, I am nowhere near the 250lb limit.... but you get the idea)

I pulled the trigger on the Toyota (Southeast) P/N:00016-48011 "LED Fog Light & DRL 2in1", its not cheap, but it is really the best solution I had seen (a Fog light that is color matched to my 4300K HID). I also dig the fact that it is also a LED DRL.

How are you liking these wheels and tires? I had the same setup done a few months ago with TRD wheels and KO2 275 tires... Discount put 40psi and it felt a little sloppy on corners. This past weekend I had them run up the back to 50 and the front to 45, I am much happier with how it rides, even on washboard roads.

I have them all @ 44psi, I like that a lot. Maybe I will try to play with different pressure if they indeed make a difference.

44psi on these LT tires is equivalent to 32psi on the original P tires.

Why do you run them differently in pressure, front and back?

I only did the higher pressure in the back because that day I was towing a heavier trailer (3500lbs) I did not want to squish my tires I have since lowered them to 45 all the way around. and I am happy.... At 40 I could hear/feel them flexing on corners

The only place I found that have them in US is way too expensive, and the place I got then from in Canada, cannot/will not ship fuel containers across the border. I ended up arranging someone to physically go there, pick them up, and fly them here to me as their luggage.

Some other ones that I found here in US either are used, or has the "US property" or "For Military Only" markings on, or are not made by Scepter (even tho they look very similiarly).

I think the only ones that will seal perfectly tho (no venting, breathing, and with Viton gasket that will not degrade by gasoline), are the true Scepter NATO version.

Also, I think, since there is no breathing or venting in these Scepter NATO cans, the gas will not become gummy, hence no addictive is needed for long term gas storage (I am STILL researching and confirming on this).
