Can’t wait to see where this build goes.
I learned a lot from your older build thread (RIP)
Excited to learn more.

Got details on the headlights themselves? I believe they're LEDs on TRD OR models?
How are they compared to the pre-LED ones? A pic of the harness would be awesome too - I've looked into pricing and it's up there but at least it's OEM lol

Thanks for asking, maybe this will help others.
TRD ORP: Low beams are LED modules in the same style headlight assembly, High beams are halogen from factory on non TRD PRO.
They are extremely better than earlier side firing halogen projectors, IMHO! They have good cut off lines, are bright and shine farther down the highway.
They have a couple of dark areas on each beam (upper area) that is not lit, but overall they are much better than earlier versions.
(Personal: It’s a toss up between these and my old Morimoto 55watt HID’s in my 2014.)
Don’t have any photos of the harness at the moment.
Speaking of OEM vs others’ LED’s. From what I’ve read and watched, these OEM’s seem to project light better.

When you say old Morimoto 55w HID's - were they just bulbs in the OEM housing? I'm trying to weigh the cost of OEM LED's vs other options such as Alpharex or just stick with HID bulbs in OEM housings.

To back track to your last post....
You asked about the harness. You may need to get info on just how that harness is different if in fact it is other than the length and how it feeds into the housing. It goes into the side of the housing, not just like earlier style housings with the harness plugged into the back/side.
I do like the quality of the light emitted from the LED’s, but I also liked how much light my Morimoto 55watt HID’d in the side firing projector housings worked too. I can state, there is no light bleeding from the top with these LED’s as with some that bled with the HID’s!
The price would probably make me pause if I had to purchase them for an upgrade mod.
That being said, I do like the looks of the
Alpharex NOVA-Series LED Projector Headlights Black
