Icon Overland Series 3" Lift Rear Coil Springs
Hi guys just though I would ask , I'm looking to buy the 52800 - Icon Overland Series 3" Lift Rear Coil Springs off toytech and I was looking at the 25-227611-P Bilstein 5160 Series Rear Remote Reservoir Shocks to go with, you guys think they will work or what should I get, I have a cbi rear swing bumper to put weight on the spring but I'm not sure if the Shocks are long enough

I would be careful with this. Back when I had 5160s I ran Icon 2" springs and they barely fit and I have 3rd row seating (+100lb over stock). I would think the 3" springs would be even worse.

Your bumper might add 200 lbs to your 5000 lb truck. Those shocks are only for up to 2" of lift. The Icons with res for 3" of lift are only $120 more...

Forgot about that! They will not fit at all.
If I were you I would just pony up and get the above mentioned ICON rear shocks. I made the mistake of going Bilstein 6112/5160s and then switching over to Icons. Lots of wasted money doing it that way. Buy once, cry once.

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but I am also looking at getting the Icon 3" overland coil springs to go with my Kings 2.5 rear shocks. Would that combo work together? I have a CBI rear bumper, roof rack and roof top tent.

Just pitching in for some corrections
I ran the 5160 with icon overland 3" coils and steel rear bumper.. technically there's no issue with shock travel here, as the 5160 has more travel than the extended KINGs I run now. The coils actually lift closer to 2.25" with a steel bumper due to their progressive dual rate nature and the added weight of the bumper
However, the 5160 is not enough shock (damping wise) to handle that coil and a steel bumper.
