“Bad bruises and small cuts” he said on reddit.
If he survived this, shouldn’t he be satisfied with the 5th gen safety restraints? Why would you go through that and then get into an older vehicle?

Cleaning the upholstery would probably be a bigger job than the bodywork.

You don't say...
"Why a 4th gen instead of another 5th gen? Not that I disprove. 4th gen V8s are my favorite."
"it was partially due to two things: 1) i can save more with lower monthly payments and get more accessories/parts"

As others have said he probably was struggling with payments. So now insurance “helped” him get a 4th gen.

Sarcasm is hard for some. Easy hot rod.

It's because the internet is full of lies. Reddit is one of the worst and is unfortunately how many young people form their view of reality these days. It's just one example of a million deceptions every day.

Talk less, educated yourself more.
This is pretty much the problem with the whole country right now, everyone is an expert on everything, law, economics, world trade..everyone's an EMT, everyone's a first responder, everyone's rolled down an 800ft hill and "been there".. and when it comes time to put up or shut-up it's all "oh sorry bro it was just sarcasm lighten up". It literally takes ONE second, to back up anything you claim, look at the pictures, and it's easy to see how you're wrong.
The first picture in the kids album is of the drivers side space, THAT HE WAS IN DURING THE ACCIDENT, and all your "anyone with common sense can easily doubt this" arguments are garbage, just like the rest of the hollow arguments some of you troll through all day. https://imgur.com/a/cKDfQS3
Ya'll need to talk a whole lot less about things you either have no clue about, or haven't spent a second trying to even look into. Lots of wasted breath.

So he was in that car alone, driving on a muddy road that didn't get mud on the car or tires dried up before he could take a photo but was also very slipper and he drove in such a way that he would almost certainly be killed if he went off the edge, did go off the edge and rolled down that hill but survived with minor injuries, was able to just crawl out without making any marks on the dust on driver's door, no blood, no hand prints, and then what? call a friend? Just walked away?

I'm pretty sure that a long, violent downhill multiple rollover accident would be very effective at "self-cleaning" mud from the vehicle and tires.
Zooming in there is evidence of mud inside the left rear wheel well and the tires look pretty dirty.
The whole length of the road did not have to be muddy. Just the area (corner?) where he went off the road at speed needed to be slippery.
