Has anyone had any success finding good quality LED turn signals with built in load resistors?
There are a few that I've come across that look like they work fine, but are 1000-2000 lumens which is insane for a turn signal. I am not trying to blind people.
Diode Dynamics has a few different LEDs ranging from ~250-500lm which make more sense, but they do not offer LED bulbs with built in load resistors. I'd rather not use splicers on my factory wiring.

On my Tacoma I used VLEDs V6 Triton turn signals. Output is 500lm per bulb. Their wiring harness accepts their plug in resistor but it is extra. I was very happy with their products but haven't replaced anything on the Runner yet.
Holy Jesus' Resurrection next week. For turn signals?! Ya'll have too much money.
10% off right now. Also worth the cost when the face of the person behind the entire car in front of you lights up in amber so they know where you are going. It's definitely needed here in Derpifornia.

True, but I've always though the rears were fairly bright. However, I do like switchbacks for the fronts.
$160.00/PAIR

LOL!
On our first-gens we just modify the blinker module or replace them with plug and play after-market ones that work with LED's
Really? After 35 years, 4Runners still don't have a blinker module that accommodates LED bulbs?

A picture paints a thousand words.
Toyota components are bullet-proof. Issues often arise from poor wiring, assembly and/or maintenance. Suspect those first.
Next only to our senses, the multi-meter is the most important electrical diagnostic tool. Spend $6 at Harbor Freight or $$$ blindly replacing parts.

Is there a crowd favorite for signal bulbs that aren't "holy moly" bright? I'd like to upgrade to LEDs but I really don't feel like blinding everyone at night.
