Maintenance question

Hi guys I need your advice , just to compare price from the states to up north across the border.

I will be changing 2 discs in the back and all 4 pads, also at 160k KM's I will do the diff and trans fluid change.

And to finish,my front sway bar bushings from the KDSS one is finished so I will change both.

With all the pieces and labor how much you guys estimate total cost ?

I will call the stealership Monday for a quote with the same info so we can all laugh when I tell you guys their price

I have a good mechanic and will compare his price also.

Really looking froward to see what you guys think.

Rear rotors are much cheaper than fronts. I'd personally source them rockauto as well as the pads. Rear power stop rotors are 63.84 a piece, akebono rear pads are 57.43 for both sides.

So brakes alone will be 185.11 + shipping and taxes. They're easy enough to replace yourself. Otherwise, your mechanic might charge you $100 per corner to replace. So add $200 to the total.

Now you have your ballpark.

Not to hard to do the rotors and bushings your self. I did all 4 rotors and pads in my driveway, took about 4 hours but i put a lot of time into cleaning and lubing properly, it was pretty easy and straightforward. I like the oem rotors and pads, pads last me 70-100k and rotors i just changed at 100k considering the pasds had been wearing them since new.

Sway bar bushing are simple as well if you do one at a time.

Don't know the dealer cost to install these, i got parts from camelback.
