My $5 mod in 5 mins.
T4R.org has helped me in so many ways, I am really thankful for this board. I had recently made a thread about things I wish Toyota would change in the 4Runner and one of the take aways is an automatic way to change the ambient lighting by adding a light sensor to the non-TRD Pro/Limited trucks. A user on here posted a link to the ebay sale that had the sensor for $5 vs. $100 at the dealer. The item took 5 weeks to come in and granted it doesn't have at Toyota stamp on it, it is identical.
Sorry this is my first "DIY" so please ignore the rawness of it.
The Item:
New Automatic Light Control Sensor for Toyota Camry Corola Lexus 89121-50020 | eBay
The install went as quick and easy as possible:
It working in action, P.S. sorry for the sound, you can tell I am no pro at this:
The lights and navigation change brightness depending on the outside light.
YouTube
Thanks again, T4R!!
p.s. I can't take credit for this as Electroboy, pointed me to it here: https://www.toyota-4runner.org/3301770-post56.html
One user has confirmed this will not work for MY2020. Sorry you fancy guys.

Awesome! Any chance of an ebay link that isn't to your specific order? It just loads to a login screen for me.
EDIT: NM, it seems you updated it, thanks!

Is this sensor works also with the lights?
If not where is the sensor (or what's the part number) for those lights (changing from DRL to low beam)?
Thanks for the tip.

Because you have a Limited - it comes factory w/ the sensor and not a blank plug.
May want to reread the thread...

Also, on a similar issue, what is your truck wired to but doesn't have the end piece/hardware?
