So you are saying all 5 sensors can be programmed in and they work? If so that is great news!
I have to go to Discount Tire to get my spare tire swapped off the steel rim onto the matching aluminum wheel I bought. I suppose they don't have the actual Toyota sensors but use an aftermarket. If it does matter then I'll pick up a Toyota branded sensor.

When I picked up my 4Runner from the dealer with 10 miles on the odometer, it had the TPMS sensor in the spare. I didn't ask if it came that way from Japan, or if the dealer installed the TPMS sensor in the spare.
My winter tires/wheels have non-Toyota sensors. The Autel unit reads and activates them all and when the ECU was flashed a couple of hundred miles ago, I've had no issues since.
If that doesn't explicitly answer your questions, feel free to ask more detailed questions.
I have also read that if you clone the IDs from the sensors that the ECU has in it, you can swap without re-flashing the ECU, but you need to keep the original and the clone separated enough so that your vehicle only senses one of them, otherwise you could get a TPMS warning when the vehicle senses two identical IDs, though I have not been down this rat hole myself to positively validate/invalidate this statement.
