Glad to hear it has paid off for you.
I sent a few PM's this afternoon...
Cheers

Our 2020 4runner limited is a few months old. Would it be OK to wait a year or two to get the extended warranty? Certainly before the existing 36mile/3years runs out, but not right away. Any advantage to getting it now? Thank you for providing us this resource, really appreciate it!

Will you please send me your new warranty contact, for my TRD Pro. The last one was able to get me a great deal on my Limited, for a 7 year 125k.

You can certainly wait if you wish. The problem is sometimes these good deals dry up or go up in price. My contact before this one 4 years ago doubled their price overnight.
Also does not matter if you buy now or later, the coverage dates and mileage wouldn't change.

@ gamester5
Could I also get quotes on EW options for a 2019 4Runner TRD Off Road? As well as contact information?
Really glad I found this thread. My dealer tried to sell me an 8yr/125k for around 2k at time of purchase lol.

Toyota Platinum Warranty Cost
Hi everyone! I'm new to this forum, but I've been reading a lot of great information here for some time and decided to join and post a question.
I own a 3rd gen 2002 Sport Edition 4runner with 327K miles on it. I love that 3rd gen T4R but the old girl is showing her age (cylinder 1 is misfiring, reverse gear doesn't always want to engage, and the frame is showing the dreaded rust issue).
So on 2/14 I finally decided to pull the trigger on a new 2020 TRD Pro 4Runner in black. The 2020 T4R is a sweet machine, but I'm having a tough time parting with my old girl. I continue to drive the 2002 to work!
Anyway, here's my question. The dealer offered me a 10-year, 100,000 mile Toyota Extended Care platinum warranty on the 2020 TRD Pro T4R for $3495! It didn't take me long to conclude that they really knocked me in the creek on this one! But, I have 30 days to cancel, which is what I intend to do if I can't get the dealer to renegotiate a lower price.
Gamester5, you are a wealth of knowledge regarding what a fair and reasonable price for extended warranty coverage! Would you please PM me cost information so I can be in a better position to negotiate a reduced cost?
Many thanks!

Just sent you and several others PM's with the contact and price info. This should save you over $2,000....
If you had it financed in the deal you will receive a credit toward your balance, so you don't actually get the money back in hand but then again you're not paying interest on it for 7 years and it lowers your balance. So you are getting your money back, just in a lower overall final price that you financed.

I might have sent old info to some of the last few members that requested the contact info. If it doesn't go through hit me up again and I will get you the correct information.
Sorry about that...
