And those prices don't include delivery, handling, dealer prep, destination charges, rail charges, additional dealer markup/profit, winter air for the tires, multi-season blinker fluid, etc, etc.
Anything that can be added to increase the price.

I would never spend that kind of money on a vehicle. My '03 Limited going to have to last a few more decades.

I'm really hung up on the massive jump in price from SR5 4WD to Offroad 4WD. About $6k. It was a $2k jump on a 2024. I get that Offroads now get 33" tires on 18" wheels, and it appears SR5 stays on 32" tires and 17" wheels, but still.
At these prices, I would either go SR5 4WD, or straight to a Land Cruiser 250. And here I was thinking I was crazy for paying $46,000 new plus $400 in factory options for a 2023 Offroad Premium....

$49,190 base MSRP for that cheaply built POS TRD OR.
I'm not feeling it.
So glad I have my just over 5k mile 5th gen TRD ORP.

don't forget, for many, significant sales tax plus high excise tax. i would love to get a replacement '07-'09 lower mileage v6 at a fraction of the new cost. the new one isn't THAT much better.

I went by my dealer here in Ft. Worth, Texas and they had 14 Land Cruisers on the lot for sale, yes, the Land Cruisers cost more than the new 4 Runners, but it does say something about sales. Higher priced 4 Runners could fall into the same situation.

I think that says more about production numbers than sales numbers. The Land Cruiser 250 is heavily outselling every previous Land Cruiser ever in the US. For the 20 years of previous Land Cruiser sales data available, 2024 has 5x as many sales as the next best year, 2005.
The bigger problem may be whether the "smaller" Land Cruiser and new 4Runner will cannibalize each others sales. It could be "4Runner V8 vs GX470" all over again.
