well im glad your crime rate is going down thats good. i live in a small town near portland oregon. crime rate here in town is not so bad. i dont carry all the time. only when i pick up my daughter from her house.and if we go to the beach or something else thats not around my town. you never know when something could happen. mainly its there to protect my daughter if needed. witch i hope i will never ever have to use it. i will always walk away from something bad but what if you cant??? portlands crime rate has gotten so bad in the last few years its unreal. i seen two houses with bullet holes in it right across the street from a middle school. gang shooting are happening more and more. i try to stay out of portland because i am not a city boy. (not saying thats a bad thing just not for me) im not saying portland is bad its just gotten worse just in the last three years. i even stopped watching the news because there is always some random shooting going on or someone getting stabbed there is never anything good on the news.

i know its not justification to be packing heat.(is what i call it) but im gonna be prepared just in case. and thats not for my sake its for my daughter's and thats it. like i said i dont carry all the time only around 20 percent of my time i do. there is no need to for it in a lot of places. just when im out of town.
