LOL, dealership tech as paid flat rate. So time in money for them. Trust me, 9 out of 10 dealership techs aren't going to waste time to measure pad thickness when they can just estimate it with a quick look at the pads.

It's funny how people think they know something who have never earned a living working as a mechanic/technician.
