RE the sub, nice addition. I've always thought that 4Runners lend themselves to great bass output, even from a simple setup, because they have similar acoustics to a hatchback vehicle.

You're right, it looks good. It's just low....I wish it was taller. The 4Runner is awesome for sound systems, my sister's rig sounds even better than mine because she has a better amp and a better sub.
I think I'm good on the nose cone honestly. I took the belt off and spun it around....it spins quietly and pretty freely. I mean, it won't just free spin because of the drag, but it's very smooth. And as far as lash goes, I could BARELY feel a little gap when rocking the pulley back and forth. It was so tiny the pulley didn't even visibly move. I haven't sucked that oil out though. I'm going to let it ride for another week or so, since everything seems good at this point.

A single 10" in a sealed box with a good amp powering the components too....it's a golden setup for a 4Runner. You don't lose the space, like you said, and it sounds awesome. Oh yes, I find excuses to drive the truck all the time.
