C4R Fall NC Meet and greet
Here s what I am thinking on this. I need to get everyone who is or may want to be a part of this. So someone please get a running survey on Facebook or whatever, and get any more input. I WILL need feedback to make this possible! Make sure you vote for a date, and a location. If you want other drop a suggestion, and in 30 days the poll will close. If you are interested, say so, so we as a collective group can figure out how large this group will be.
What does everyone think of Portsmouth Island the weekend of Sept 4-7th. Hopefully that will make it cool enough to camp, and warm enough to still do whatever. That's a Friday-Monday, meet on Friday and depart on Sunday or Monday. Someone remind me, I will call the ferry and see if we can get a discount due to the number of us there will be, IF we get enough people to commit.
Any more input would be great, was also looking at the western part of NC. Pisgah National Forrest? If anyone had any objections to that, we could look at earlier for weather purposes.
The goal is MAXIMUM participation so we can get to know our fellow Toyota siblings across the state, and bordering states, be family friendly, and just have some fun.

Awesome idea. If it winds up being the later date in September I'd have a good shot of making it. I'll be in OBX the first dates with the family.

@ Doc2012
see if you can get the word out on this for me. If I don't get any, or enough responses I'm gonna call this a bust. Thanks man.

Posted this on the 3G4RM page(3RD Gen 4Runner Mafia).
I'm going to make a suggestion, like I texted you, and say closer to Columbus Day, with Labor Day being the "official end of summer."
Also, I'd say somewhere like Uhwarrie, Gulches, Wind Rock, or Coal Creek.
There's a place in Western NC called Durhamtown-Tellico, which apparently has a 5K(?) bounty for a rock face is anyone can get up it.
Let me see what dates people are talking about on the Mafia page, and I'll post back with results by tomorrow night.
Trying to get ready for Jason's Birthday party.

I'll be in Portsmouth Island Sept. 25-27. Would love to see a group go out on those dates too. Possibly also heading out there on Sept. 12-13.
I am also up for any excursions around Columbus day to something more local.
