I am trying to get to the compressor and i can not get off the power steering pump to save my life. Book says to tighten belt and put tension on belt then try to spin nut. Didnt work, then i tried taking the whole mounting bracket off to pull the entire thing still wont budge. Any help. Its a 1995 4runner v6 sr5. I am about to roll it into the street and light it on fire, please help

It is only held on by 2 nuts, one at the bottom and one at the top. Don't mess with the pulley. If you have AC, they might be tight to get to. This engine was built by left handed contortionists with hands the size of a 3 year old.

I just unbolt the bracket from the block.
Well i couldnt get at the bolt on the bottom so i took a pair of vise grips to hold the pully and got the nut off then used a ball joint separator to get the pully off, should be pretty fun getting it back together. I think my car was put together by elves at the north pole, this is re****ed.
