Recieved a lot of looks

Received a lot of looks yesterday on my way back from Houston. A buudy of mine broke down and needed to be towed back. Anyways, it was entertaining for me and my 95 T4R pulling a loaded down 2005 Ford F250 Diesel, 200 miles back home. Just thought I would pass on the quick story.

thanks, :yo: not bad for a 95. yea it wasn't the most fun I have ever had! We averaged 60 mph...I will post to the Super duty thread her in a minute.

I second that! I've been on the towed-vehicle end far too many times with a buddy of mine pulling--he was always bringing something back to his shop, and I was quite good at working the brakes from the "trailer" end. It wasn't very pleasant even for short runs, let alone 200 miles. I guess that's what I get for being able to stop his pulling vehicle right at stop signs from 30' behind.

So many people don't understand that, it sounds like you'd be a pleasure to tow or be towed behind.

It sure can be tricky keeping slack out of the tow strap, to keep from jerking the vehicles all over the place! I've gotta admit, the one part I DID enjoy was trying to place the lead car exactly where I wanted it (such as at a light or sign), so the strap was already tight when it was time to pull away.
 
Oh, I dunno. I just meant that if your buddy has a Ford forum that he hangs out on, it'd be fun to poke him by posting photos of his truck being towed by a 20 year old Toyota. If he doesn't, then disregard. :)
