Forum response really slow lately ....

Server too busy for me to reply last time so I will try again.

It has been very slow for about the last week or so, it took 21 seconds to open this thread.

Is there anything we can do to help? Delete PMs, albums, posts?????

You don't seem to be having any success since I also keep getting messages saying: "The server is too busy at the moment. Please try again later." Why don't you contact a competent IT professional for help fixing the problem?
 
I agree......This should have been solved HOURS ago....Any idea how much longer we are stuck out of the forum?
 
Yeah, this sucks! Kind of doubt this post will even make it through. I have been a part of a few forums and I will say this one by far has the most ads in it. Wonder if that is biting us in the ass now. Hope it's fixed soon.

Looks like it's back to normal operations. Don't know what the problem/causes were, but thanks for taking the time to fix it.

Having run a forum before I know what kind of thankless job it is. So all I've got to say is ...

Have my doubts that the problem is fixed, but will keep my fingers crossed.

If I didn't know better, I'd say we've been spammed quite heavily, resulting in super slow response. I had to take it down overnight to try to block spammers as much as possible. We'll see if it helped.

Ditto, and you whiners should just chill - it's not like you pay for this great place. Unbelievable gall.

I have noticed a lot of increased spam posts in the 3rd gen section... Just little clipets from other people's post getting put up as posts... There should be a way to stop them but Idk how. Thanks for the work and effort your putting in.

That's not all true is it? I have to pay to be a sponsor, and I do not feel (FWIW) that wanting some resolve in the site issue is whining.:behindsofa:
