Where to Buy - Factory Amplifier Output Harness

In the past I have always bought the cheapest audio option avalable so I can swap out that OEM junk and put in my own aftermarket stuff.

However the sport edition came with the JBL premium (yeal right - sounds like crap) audio direct from the factory. A ~850 add on. To make light of this extra 850 and to make use of the JBL premium system until I get around to installing a full aftermarket system.

For now I would like to patch up this JBL setup a little bit. I want to add "bass blocker" to door speakers.

What I want to do is open up the rear passenger quarter panel and get access to the factory amplifier.

Here is the question. Where can I buy a EZ quick connect extension harness for the factory amplifier speaker output so I don't have to splice any factory wirings. The quick connect should have one end being male and one end being female. I will spice/cut/add the bass blocker only on the quick connect harness.

Once I decide to go all out on a complete aftermarket system - I want to be able to simply remove the quick connect with all the bass blocker and return the factory JBL system back to it's original state.

I doubt if you'll find one I looked for a couple weeks...I replaced the entire system (minus the Factory Nav h/u) and i had to use line converters on the factory amp outputs to interface with my aftermarket amps. It's a pain but it's the only way , atleast that I've found that will enable you to have use of the centerchannel and fader controls. I'm currently running just over 1200w RMS and it's clear as a bell. I used 2 line-out converters from Scosche that I picked up for about $20 each and they work perfectly. good luck, let me know if you find a quick connect.

I am all about SQ. I will never ever ever convert speaker lever output to RCA. That is a No No.

FYI - old fashion DIY procedure to test the noise level of you system. Play a CD. pause it. Then crank up the volume to almost MAX. You will begin hear all the background static/noise that the music once covered.

Anyway - No Luck finding an EZ adapter to buy.

Only way is to get the parts from another 4R with JBL system.

I can tear/unsolider the female adapter from the factory amp and I can cut the male adapter from the factory wire. Of course possibley out of another totaled 4R.

Well I have the factory Nav, so regardless, I would only have one right and one left output (preamplifier). As for the sound quality in mine ...crystal!!
