So, I got a baby on the way, and I wont give up my Triumph so the 4runner has to go.
It's a 1998, Automatic, Limited with rear diff E-locker.
270k miles.
4x4 works, as well as E-locker.
Rear window works, but if you go more than half way down it gets stuck because of the dent in the rear hatch. (I had this fixed for a while, but now it's getting stuck on the bracing inside the hatch again.)
Truck has the normal valve cover seepage. I have new valve cover gaskets that will come with truck. (I changed the oil every 3k, and it's never low.)
Truck also has ABS light on. Comes, and goes. The driver's front wheel speed sensor is cracked, and I think it's the culprit. In wet weather it will activate the ABS intermittently when stopping.
I have a build thread that you can look at to see what I've already done to it, and have more photos of it.
*** The hitch receiver was removed because I planned to replace it.
*** I removed the running boards, and sold them. So disregard them in the photos in the build thread.
Still runs great. I still drive it often so the miles will rise accordingly. Come check it out, and make me an offer.
Willing to trade for Volkswagen, ( I'm a VW tech, and have tons of parts, so it's cheaper for me to have a VW as a project then the runner.) Or an old motorcycle WITH title.
