Nice ride, I finally found someone that actually names the Nerf bars. I have been searching for the name for those to put on my TE. Thanks and keep up the mods, I am trying to start myself.

Thanks Redwolf!
_______

Got some new wheels and tires put on today. I sized down from 20's to 18's. I did this mainly to gain more sidewall for offroading. From the driving I did today the Duratrac's feel pretty good. I can see why people love the look and feel of these tires. They look like an MT and are just a tad bit louder then an AT. You can only hear a slight buzz on the freeway if your radio is completely turned off. Definitely not annoying at all.

I decided to go with 18's because I really wanted to run the 295/65-18 Duratrac's which are a true 33" tire. I also liked the look of the wider tire. I'll deal with the minimal loss in gas mileage.

I will see how well they do at Hollister this weekend but from the rave reviews this tire's been getting I don't see any problems arising. I also took off my nFab's and rocker panels earlier tonight in preparation for this weekend. I will be selling the nFab's and wheels. On to the pics..

Some pics from a trip with toyota120 to Hollister today. This was the maiden voyage for the new Icon suspension and 18's. Long story short, I love the new setup!

Looks like it was muddy and fun. Did the frame twister?

Yea it was perfect out there yesterday. I did do the frame twister but the mud was just too deep. John had to give me a pull to get me over one rock. After that I was good.

Here are some higher res pics taken by Steve, Liquidus from toyota120.

These pics do a pretty good job at capturing how steep 5 fingers is.

Budbuilt Bump out Sliders with full tread plating with black powdercoat

First off, Bud over at Budbuilt was a pleasure to work with. Kind of hard to get a hold of but after that everything was very smooth. The quality of these sliders are amazing. The fit, finish and look are perfect. These are the regular bump out sliders with full tread plating and black powder coat. I'm really glad I did not go with the beefy sliders because these seam plenty strong. Each weighs about 60 lbs. They're definitely hefty.

These sliders are perfect as a step. My fiance is now able to get in and out of the truck much easier. I will test out how well they work as sliders hopefully this weekend. Overall, I'm completely satisfied with what I got from Bud.

Gobi Stealth rack w/ Rigid SR40 40" light bar

Amazing product. The fit, finish and quality of this rack is top notch. I had Gobi make a custom mount for the Rigid SR40 light bar. It took a little bit longer but the fit and look is perfect IMO. I can't wait to go on our next camping trip and get this thing loaded up. Definitely in my top 5 mods so far. If you need a Gobi rack, LMK. I will beat anyones price.

Pics taken atop 5 Fingers, Hollister Hills OHV on 4/22/12.

So how do I convince the wife we need a shockworks bumper, icon lift, at tires, and gobi rack?
