Pismo? It's about half way between LA and San Fran.
A very quiet area, the way California used to be 20 years ago.
It's the only beach in California, where you can drive on the beach, and in the dunes, and camp there too.
Lots of quadracers and buggies too, but not a large as the Glamis dunes, near Yuma.
