Most of my pics are of the other folks rigs... tacos and a landcruiser. Problem with wheelin pics is you never get many pics of your own rig. I hesitate to post them on a forum dedicated to 4runners.

If y'all want, I can post them. I could alternatively post the link to the trip thread.

I think I will turn this into a thread to post my travels. I will post pics from time to time as I go out and explore. Several trips on the agenda this summer.

A couple pics from last weekend. jsmarine, myself, and the rest of the gang...

I had to be careful walking up there... it was windy, and around 5 feet across... it looked about the same from the other side. A slip could have ruined my day!

Completed trip report with video. Here.

Sweet pics, I wish there was somewhere like that withing 5 hours of my house.

What's with your snorkel, why is the top part backwards?

Yeah! how come the snorkel is on backwards? Don't you know it should be facing the other way!

There probably is... you are in Minneapolis / St. Paul? Wow? UP Michigan? Northern Wisconsin and Minnesota? Doesn't always have to be mountains! Don't forget about Canada! Lots of kewl folks up there, and not so far away for you!

.... doesn't really matter where you are... step 1. Go to google earth and select the terrain function. Step 2. Look for a bumpy place. Step 3. Go to bumpy place and find trails!

Its what I do!

BTW... we could use some help up there for a project we are working on...

Go run a few overgrown trails and tell me how well you like your limb catcher! (I don't have those fancy limb risers yet!)

I use what works. I make modifications as needed.

That's a sweet trailer you got there. Cool tent on stilts too. Looks like a nice secluded beach for you and your lady!

I agree.. I wish I would have wheeled more when I lived down south.

There are a few places within a couple of hours of the Twin Cities for wheeling, but nothing like that.

Thank you. Its come a long way.

It was a little crowded near the road, but 15 miles down, we were at least half a mile from the nearest people. During the off season down there, you might not see a truck for days. I went all the way down one time, and only saw one other set of tire tracks... well above the tide line.

I don't know of any beaches in the area that are more secluded. I try to make it down there as often as possible. PINS is defintely a special place.

Great work on the trailer. If we ever meet, I hope you're not shirtless with rubber gloves on, lol! I think Rustoleum is the best option too. Let it get beat up and rattle can it every so often. That beach is awesome.

LOL.

I will be out in Hollister Hills in September. I'll be flying in and working the event. Let me know if you can make it.
