I told you guys back in the other thread to leave well enough alone and all the public posting was just going to hurt both companies in the long run. Look guys, I have been on both sides in patent infringement cases and it's not pretty. It's also much different than civil or criminal law. No matter whose side you are on I suggest for the last time you leave it to the principal parties involved and their attorneys. This is a whole different world and everything said here is counterproductive to borh sides. That's all I am saying except everything is not always as it seems when it comes to patents.

Agreed. I believed the dust settled and the post by Miller was not in the best interest of cooling off the thread as it did appear people were going to wait and see the legal course of action before responding with anything else.

That other thread was very one sided though.

Two of the mods on this forum own WMW racks and were active in the thread and very critical of GOBI.
One of those mods, ironically, created a thread on another 4Runner forum with the title "GOBI Style Rack for a Fraction of the cost" as a matter of fact.
Threads on this forum re WMW racks created in 2012 have been edited in July of this year.
Posts here recommending blowing up GOBI's facebook and google ratings, which actually happened.
The list goes on.

I am sure talks of the case in Gobi's offices are very one sided. What do you expect.

This is a direct repeat of the last thread. No onesidedness. The information that was presented with legal details and how GOBI acted I don't belive to be one sided. They shot themselves in the foot, and have tried everything from getting the thread deleted by threatening the forum, to creating fake accounts to pedal the conversation to again get the thread flagged, to asking consumers to stick up for their actions and to try and justify them.

And with your response you seem to ignore all my previous questions and then resort to bringing up other things not correlated with this thread or the previously closed thread. Or how about the fact that a particular mod deleted the thread in its entirety first, which is what started this. No matter how you cut it the back pedaling and covering up for GOBI seems to keep trying to creep it's way back into this forum.

One account was fake, Amanda which was petty lame but just a non management employee trying to stick up for them, they really are a small company. The other account was Paul, an owner who said who he was.

I do apologize. There was one fake account, and then the owner who came in, but then exited when met with real questions. Find it humorous people keep dismissing that fact as well of an employee lying who they are to guide the thread. Again not to mention the other people who negated all their actions to say the company is a really small and honest company. They lost that appearance with their actions.

Also your question makes no sense, but if I was to try and understand what you are asking I would refute That they patented "A" DESIGN, not a style, huge difference. Refer to the patent for more info and the differentiation between the two. So again instead of perpetuating the rant, as I previously STATED why don't we wait until we see what happens in court. You again trying to blatantly dismiss facts from both threads and cause more confusion then clarification in this thread doesn't solve anything.
No deflection here just staying on topic as originally discussed and the revitalization(for lack of better term) of this thread is soley in effort to push into GOBI favor of getting a public forum thread pulled.

So just to reitterate the original thread was deleted. This was created. The original thread was undeleted and locked as admittedly was preemptive and not showing the series of events that lead to this. This thread was dormant and than Miller known to be sponsored by GOBI posts a chaotic storm of a posts to rile up this thread.
Everyone was content with waiting to see what happens in the legal system, yet this undermining methodology of trying to spark threads to cause negativity in the forum to get it closed is an elementary tactic.
