This came up searching "Greece".
I spotted an imported 3rd Gen 4Runner on the Greek island of Skyros, near the military base, with what looked like someone important in it from the military.

Just returned about 10 days ago from a ~3000 trip through the SW. Started in eastern Washington, then to Bend, OR, followed by Carson City, NV, then Victorville, and Seal Beach, Ca, then on to Vegas (1 week), on to Flagstaff, AZ and Gallup, NM, then home via Vegas, Carson City and Bend. Saw too many 4Runners to list. Some were, obviously, not off-roaders. Those were mostly in L.A. and Orange County, as well as Vegas. The most "used" (i.e. desert pinstriping, dirty, or fixed up for off road) seemed to be in the mountain communities, especially those with four seasons.
Just went to strength-training this AM (about 6 miles round-trip). I stopped counting after a dozen or so (My wife complains if I keep pointing out "Those 4-Cars" to her). They ranged from soccer-moms and dads with kids to "Mall Cruisers" to one or two serious looking overlanders!

Not a 4Runner, but I spotted a RHD Land Cruiser (6th gen, J100?) at a red light this past Saturday, July 9th, in Rockford, IL.
(I’ve seen RHD LCs before, but not in the US.)

In the Philippines, the 4Runner is called the Fortuner. I might be exaggerating, but it seemed like 1 in every 10 vehicles I saw in Manila was a Fortuner. The one in the photo is their equivalent to our 5th gen.
Most of the taxis are the Toyota Vios (same as a Corolla/Yaris?). The Vios is the most popular sedan in the Philippines. There really aren’t any Filipino car manufacturers, so almost everything is Japanese. (They drive on the right side of the road, like we do.)

No pics but when I went to the Chiropractor this AM (~3 miles round trip), I counted 10 4Runners (Might have counted one twice on different streets!)

over a decade ago, I spotted another member (not knowing who it was), posted in this thread and was able to connect. We ended up going on dozens of camping/wheeling trips together. its also cool to just see some of the nice 4runners in different states.

Would never had figured I’d ever see the Nautical Blue 2015 Trail Edition I traded in for my 22 ORP in DEC21. But yep not only did I see it yesterday, it’s in the same parking lot where I work. New owner has blacked it out and put black valances on. Looks good. I’ll have to get me a pic of it.
