Has anybody experienced this, and if so what did you do? My '87 4Runner has been idling very low at stops but wouldn't die - the mechanic it was at for a tune up could not figure it out. They tried many different adjustments, bench tested & flow tested fuel injectors, checked all connections at fuel injectors, re-soddered fuel injector connections.. but the low idle problem was still present. They also said the computer PCM controls idle after motor is warm. It feels worse after it's been driven for 30+ mins, in heat, and in traffic. It runs fine while driving, but at a red light after it feels like it's going to die. It finally did die at a light (2 months after problem started) but started right back up. I took it to another mechanic and the issue hasn't happened for them. Anybody know what I'm talking about? Thanks! -B.
