Ok so a couple months ago ordered solenoid kit from eBay and installed on my 1998 toyota v6. When I first cranked nothing! Then on second crank perfect. All was well until I had to switch starters & disconnected bat cables. When I reconnected everything it would not crank be cause I had to reset factory alarm. I couldn't remember how but got in closed doors locked and the pushed the little red flashing button several times. Also turned key on&off without cranking but at least horn wouldn't go off anymore. Took relay switch off and inserted a wire on the space nearest radiator which is only one that is vertical then inserted relay back in with wireleft inside. Now all I do to start truck is touch wire to positive terminal and starts right up but key has to be in the on position. Also if I take relay off and put key on the start position and touch the same contact with the one towards driver side it also starts. Tried a new relay but no go. Could it have something to do with alarm? Please help.

I put the hand brake on and it even starts in the drive position...any suggestions? Thanx
