I'm always a sucker for a good two-tone paint job--I think it's the way it breaks up the lines of a vehicle, making it seem less bulky. It works especially well with these 1st Gen 4Runners, de-emphasizing the fact that the top is separate from the rest, and making it look more like one solid piece (like later models). Rig looks great!
Thanks for the comments. I have to agree on how the two-tone makes it less bulky. Its the only one that i have ever seen here although i know they were sold in the US. It differs from a normal SSR Limited in that it is not turbo diesel. (i know ye didnt get any diesels )
When i put the softopper on my other truck it made it look much better and far less bulky. But my 3rd truck...probably the color combination of the silver with the black and the bigger wheels 'lift' its weight so appearing less bulky.
