Those are great photos! Especially the one of the old house(?). I live on the other coast (the good one!), and we have a lot of old mines in the area (just as you do); in the old days (20 years ago) we used to be able to get up in the hills and explore, 4-wheel, shoot guns, etc. Unfortunately, most of the areas are gated off because of the mess people made. Glad you still have some open areas to enjoy.
