Mine is also an auto. Too bad I don't have my learners permit yet, going for that on Tuesday. I really wanted a 4cyl 5 speed reg cab Taco, but the 4runner was too good to pass up.
5 SPD 3rd gen 4runners are hard to find in CA in decent condition, I did look at a 99' Ltd, but it had 250k (150k MILES) and they wanted $12k!! Insane! I also wanted an SR5, for SIMPLICITY, if you have too many bells and whistles, it means $$$ in repairs.... I just suffered an acrimonious separation (sold the piece of junk) from a 99' Chevy Suburban, the king of nickel and diming! As dear old Grandpa used to say: "...keep it simple stupid..."
