What type of brush guard did you buy? I'd like to get one, seeing as I was just rear-ended at about 40 mph in Orlando. Luckily, I had something similar that bolted in to the hitch that took 80% of the impact. Still had bumper and tail lamp damage, but it would have been a lot worse without.
It really would have and honestly i didn't buy mine. It came with the car when I bought it along with my metal tail light covers. Those saved my taillights and my brush guard saved my life. When the 4Runner hit me from behind he was at least doing 40 and couldn't stop because of the ice. I hit a jeep at 20mph and just broke her taillight
Yeah that's when that happened. Still fight with the insurance company on a daily basis so they will go ahead and pay me. The 4Runner that hit me from the back all the way up the passenger side already has his car fixed and honestly, that's not fair
