New speakers

what speakers did you buy? was it hard to line them up and did they fit for the bracket they are screwed into? how was the wiring done? thanks!

I can do anything with any car...except electrical. But these were so easy that even I could do it. All I did was snip the two wires going to the old speaker, and splice them to the two wires on the new speaker. As long as the diameter of the new speaker is the same as the old one, it will technically fir. HOWEVER, I didn't think about the length front to back of the speaker. They stick out too far to fit under the door panel. My door panel now doesn't close completely on the bottom corner. Still works for me, I haven't had any problems. Also, all of this was done with no bracket. You just unscrew the old speaker and screw in the new speaker. I should add that after you unscrew the old speaker, the factory has glued them to the vehicle. You literally have to pry the old peaked off of the glue. I am thinking about some JL Audio's.. But component. Did you get coaxial speakers for the front?
