I saw the before picture, wow, what all did you have to do to prep your under and get it to look so nice? How long do you think it will last? What paint did you use?
I am never sure how long any paint will last. After the lift I felt everyone could see everything. I used foil and blue painters tape to mask off everything on the 4Runner. I covered the garage in plastic for over spray. This is what I used: all rust-oleum products. high temp on the tail pipe, black satin on the frame and other metal parts. Lastly I used a rubberized undercoating paint for the fender wells. I also used a rust primer to touch up some minor rust spots
Thanks fpr getting back to me, hopefully whenever it is I get the chance mine will come out half as nice. Did you spend much time sanding or wire brushing rust or dirt deposits off or just hose dry and spray?
