Mechanical overhaul is going great. The only discovery so far that was unexpected was the injector in the numbe four cylinder is misfiring so driver's side injector bank is getting replaced this weekend. So far the difference in fuel savings from doing the work i mentioned is amazing. The first tank of fuel after i purchased the old girl was 350kms. After doing the mechanical work minus the injectors i got 450kms out of the second tank. Will see how the third tank goes after fuel filter and misfire is corrected. I want to thank all the guys on the T4R forum here for all the amazing advice and posts. The beta on here is very very accurate.
