Thanks for the comment.... but I have to say I'm envious of your 97' generation 3. The clean lines and good stance of yours makes mine look kinda like a magnetic shopping trolley after its gone through a supermarket aisle.
Toyota stopped selling 4runners in Australia after gen 2, and opted for a Prado (similar chassis to yours but ugly body). As its now getting hard to look after my gen 2 with Toyota parts dwindling, I'm disappointing I've got no future 4 runner upgrade path. Whilst the latest Prados now look pretty good in Oz, Toyota has sacrificed performance (things like clearance and suspension travel) so they just cant perform offroad without a lot of work. Guess thats the age we live in.
For now I'll try to keep what I've got alive & drool over your '97 build images ! Cheers.
