They do just fine on and off road. truck has been to Alaska twice and Idaho countless times. i have 26,000 miles on them and well over 50% tread. They are 20's with 35" tire. The larger diameter is actually better on these big trucks less sidewall bulge when carrying heavy loads down hot highways and a more even tread wear as a result. the pic makes it look worse than it is. 1 ton noobs..... haha jk
I drove 1 ton pick ups in high school for a job at an RV dealer in Maine and come to think of it they all had thin tires so that makes sense. We had high way tires on them, they sucked in the snow.
