Wow!! looks like you were off road, were you going slow--- its seems most failures happen this way. Hope you didn't have too much trouble getting it out of the bush.

Yeah I was up South Spring gulch in Idaho Springs. I was going about 15-20 MPH downhill when my front end dropped violently and came to a stop. I hopped out to survey the damage and didn't even know where to start! Luckily for my girlfriend and I, some other people were wheeling that gave us a ride into town. It took me 2 days to gather tools, buy parts and return with a friend to my poor 4Runner. I replaced the LBJ and the CV on the trail and took it to a shop that gave me the green light on my work. I also replaced the LBJ on the other side after the failure since it has 192,000 miles. It didn't even need an alignment when I got new tires a month later!
