You can tape off a square around your emblem with masking tape, then paint the entire emblem and the area (square) you made around it. While taking the tape off it will then peel up the plasti dip, now since the emblem is in a cut out the plasti dip will tear around the outside of the emblem, then for the inside removal just take a Q-tip and do as he says in the video (my recommendation) I scratched the back just a tad bit with a toothpick like he recommends in this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8Gfd46AxLw
The problem with that is the Black that is on the area around it is plastidip and if I spray plastidip on top of plastidip they will bond together.. So, when I peel the excess of the Pink off the Black will come off with it.
Oh sorry, I misunderstood what you wrote then. I thought you meant you would have liked to have painted the emblem pink but just settled with painting that whole area black, Like with mine I only painted the emblem black so it was much easier to peel without having to worry about peeling off other dip. Sorry I can't be of help, I guess the best thing would be to really get in there with a blunt skinny edge and place tape and really push it down into the cutout. But it will take time!
