Need a side mirror.
Gave myslef another 1-1/4" clearance at the running board, not necessary but makes me sleep better.
Cut the running board for some extra clearance. About 5/8" on top and closer to 1-1/2" at the bottom.

It clears until you turn, then it gets real tight on the step. Plenty of clearance to the actual body.

Room to spare, ok maybe a 1/4" while turning. Time to modify the steps
