What spray paint did you use to get this color! Brand and color code would be great! Thanks!

I sprayed 3 coats each of Duplicolor graphite, and clearcoat rim and wheel paint. I was happy with the finish considering it came from a rattle can, but I did take my time with the prep work. Work probably totaled 16 hours or so for all four rims.

Very nice work! From the photo, I would've guessed it came this way--well done.

Thanks Bob. After spending so much time and effort, I will for-go the rattle can method if I ever decide to do it again. They chip extremely easy. I'll either paint with professional auto paint and a spray gun or I'll pay to have them powdercoated.

I think I spotted your 4runner in October at Lowe's (Battlefield) in Chesapeake, VA...

I wanted to ask him about those wheels, because they are the exact color I'm looking for Powder Coating my 2006 Black 4th Gen with Limited Wheels (Toyota did a crap job on these Ltd wheels and the finish has been flaking off badly the past year). Know anyone that has gotten wheels powdercoated around in VB area?

That was me at Lowes. Though I may go that route next time, I don't know anybody to recommend for powder coating in our area. When I rattle canned my rims, I just used Dupli-Color Graphite. I thought it looked a little better than the satin/flat black you see everywhere. I'll have to keep an eye out for you when I'm out and about which is a lot because I'm in sales.
