Looking for help with my three biggest complaints

So i went ahead and ordered a Wheelskins cover. First off, a pain in the butt to get on. You actually have to thread a needle and go around the wheel. Once I got the hang of it it went well. However total time was about 2hrs. The end result is OK, not great and not stock. But for 45 bucks not...

Looking for help with my three biggest complaints

You are correct the leather wrapped steering wheel is an option, however my truck was on the lot all good to go, so i didn't have a chance of ordering it. The funny thing is that its a rather inexpensive option when ordering a new truck, but an expensive one at the dealer after the fact. I did...

Looking for help with my three biggest complaints

This forum has been a wealth of information, so thanks to everyone who contributes. That being said I have three issues that need to be addressed and am looking to all of you for help. I have an 2007 sr5 4X4 V6. Issue #1. Toyota went really cheap on the steering wheel. A hard plastic wheel...

    Michelin Cross-Terrains = Amazing Tire

Re: Ride and Handling has improved w/18's. That would be great. My runner had the 17 inch upgraded wheels with the cross terrains. However I always liked the look of those 18's. Was that price for 5 wheels or 4?

    Michelin Cross-Terrains = Amazing Tire

I also have the cross terrains on my 07 sr5, and I agree that it keeps the noise down inside. I was thinking of trying to find a set of those 18" limited wheels. Did you notice any differences in the way your truck rides/handles with the larger wheels?

Could my V6 handle the Colorado Mountains?

Thanks to all that posted. Reason I asked, ran through several passes on a HD Electra-glide awhile ago, while some of the guys had carbs that needed re-jetting were struggling. I realize that fuel-injection takes care of those altitude problems however there is a difference in engine performance...

Could my V6 handle the Colorado Mountains?

Greetings to all. I have a question for those V6 owners in the states with elevation. Planning on visiting family out in Colorado (Aspen area) do some skiing, etc. I bought my 2007 SR5 V6 4X4 earlier this year in the Chicago area where I currently reside. For all purposes, it has been more than...

New 4runner and a snowy highway question

Today we received several inches of the white stuff that seemed to snare highway traffic here in the Chicago area. It was my real test of my new 4runner and a chance for me to post some questions and concerns. The roads were plowed however it kept snowing and the crews could not keep up. The...

    odd brake squealing?

Same thing happens to me. Bought my 07 sr5 v6 4x4 in august, and started noticing the noise when the weather turned cold and damp. It doesn't seem to matter if I keep it in the garage or park it outside overnight. Might have them check it out when i go back for the next oil change. Seems very...

Thanks for all the replies. Just curious has anyone tried "wheel skins" I saw them on the net and it seems like a pain in the ass to thread the cover myself.

Leather steering wheel in an 07 SR5?

Greetings everyone, long time lurker first time poster. I Recently purchased an 07 SR5 4X4 V6. I'm very impressed with this vehicle thus far. The dealer that I purchased this rig from had a leather interior and sunroof installed. However they failed to change out the steering wheel and shifter...
