sometimes when i put my key i have to take it out and rotate for it to actually start ever seen this before? what's worn out? what do i need to replace?

update, just called my local dealership, they are ordering the replacement part so i can get rid of the power antenna, it costs $73.59, i'll then buy the rubber antenna to screw into it i'll have car toys install it when i'm having them replace my heat unit thanks again forum members

My power antenna is dead. I'd like to just replace with a flexible rubber one so this doesn't happen again. Any suggestions? I''ll gladly buy through an affiliate link. I just want a good one that isn't power, and can make it thru car washes.

just an update...made it home safely...the thing rode like a dream the crazy part, 2 different times while getting gas on the trip i got comments like 'nice truck'...lol, just a stock 01, but i guess it just looks so mint! 1. now that i'm home i'm going to replace the radiator to be safe...

Good deal guys...just replaced them today with some Firestones, same size, lifetime alignment (cost was double but i can take it to any Firestone any time for the life of the vehicle at no additional cost for alignment) and an oil change...I ready for my road trip back to Dallas!

miles are carfax and toyota owner confirmed, the mintness of the ride confirms them too in my mind.... i really do think they are the original tires, the date is april 2000 on them, the vehicle was made in dec 2000

thank you for clearing that up Hepar! Is the dry rot on the tread too bad for a 19 hr drive...my dad saying just replace at Costco before the trip....

hold on, what are the odds it has the badges, rims, running board and flares and NOT be a limited? it's a proven 1 owner vehicle....he either special ordered it or did this himself....
