once you "re-program" the remote, the others wont work. they need to all be "added" at the same time for them to work. your old (stolen) remote will not work. i added one remote to my 4runner which made my 2 originals unusable....till i redid the process and added all 3 at the same time.

do you have a bug deflector on? i heard that causes the hood "flutter". there was someone a while back making/selling some sort of brace to resolve it. found a link here

have the shop re-balance them, but ask if they have a haweka adapter. 3rd gens are really finicky with balancing issue (mine was anyway) have a read here , cured my vibrations.

that creaking is normal. the steering stopper covers are worn or just fell off -it's just a little plastic "cap" that goes over the steering stopper bolt. couple dollars at a dealership. there's 2 per side (front/rear of the tire) take a peek under the front and you'll see which "bolt" the...

the 90's 3.0 autos had a city rating of 13 and hwy of 17. so that 67 miles on a quarter tank is "possible," if it's mostly stop/go traffic and a heavy foot. i have a 94 3.slow (135K) and it does drink alot but runs just fine. change the air filter and air up the tires won't hurt.

i've been happy with my bridgestone H/L Alenza's on my 4runner. very smooth and quiet on the road, grippy in the wet stuff. on a side note, in reference to my above post, i still got my revos on my truck with 40K miles on them and they still look handle great. awesome A/T tires:D

if you do remove the rails, you'll have to get the plastic piece the go on in place of the rail, to cover up the holes. not sure how many torx screws/holes there are per side.

ive used the kn drop-in filtercharger in my 94 3.slow for a few months a few years ago with no noticeable diffence, other than noise. went back to oem on the 94 and 02. i've also heard that k/n's suck up oil especially if overoiled. what turned me off about the k/n's if if you hold it up to...

if you're on pavement most of the time check out the Bridgestone H/L Alenzas it's the "street version" of the REVOs. very quiet and grippy in the wet stuff.

the limited style flares and trim will leave some small square holes in the panels/fenders. don't remember exactly how many though. i think only those thin matte black "sport" flares were bolt-ons w/ no holes.

check to see that the back window is up completely. if not fully closed, wiper or washer wont come on.
